Verdict

The Delray Munky has been superbly placed to rattle up a four-timer but did need the help of the stewards last time - she would need another career-best to land this. The money came for Oscar Rose again at Newbury last month but, not for the first time, she didn’t find much off the bridle and eventually finished behind Jubilympics and PETTICOAT TAILS. Theoretically, Seamus Mullins’ mare is best off at the weights today but the better going will suit Brian Hughes’ mount, who can come out on top this time. Others to consider include The Organist, fifth in the Coral Cup, and Indian Stream and Midnight Jazz. The latter pair were fourth and sixth respectively in the Grade 1 Mares’ Hurdle while Brillare Momento won on this card 12 months ago and never seems to run a bad race around here. Wincanton winner Apache Song will handle the quicker surface but the longer trip might be a problem. Awesome Rosie may be best of the rest as Majestic Moll might struggle to dominate this big field, though is probably on a decent mark.
