Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Bags of exposed runners here and Kaldouas may well be the one to be on, with Baodai likely to provide stiff opposition. The Paul Nicholls-named selection steps up in trip here after winning over 2m 5f at Wincanton. That defeat of Mandingo Chief, who went well at Wetherby on Wednesday, is decent form in context here. He handles cut in the ground and Ruby Walsh can hopefully get him plenty of cover here in order to get the trip, so he gets the nod. Baodai was a decent Bangor scorer last time and we know he will definitely stay. However, ideally he would prefer better ground than this and that may find him out. Conversely Milord Lescribaa will be better for encountering slightly slower ground again now and that can make him more competitive. Mister Apple's finds wining tricky but can again go well, while best of the rest looks to be Imperial Sun, but preference is for Kaldouas.
