Verdict

Changing The Guard probably has the best recent form in this having finished a close-up fourth in a Listed handicap at Market Rasen last month. King Ozzy could be interesting off a low weight while though the likes of Zama Zama, Persian Snow, Shammick Boy and Dark Lover return from a lay-off, none of the quartet can be ruled out. BRICK RED has only had the three runs over hurdles so far and hasn't given the handicapper much to work with but he was a fairly comfortable winner of a maiden hurdle at Uttoxeter in May and often ran well in big fields on the Flat. There should be more to come from Venetia Williams' five-year-old and he gets a tentative vote in this finale. Artisan has been in decent form on the Flat lately and could also figure if he can translate that improvement to hurdling.
