In depth

Verdict

SASHENKA (NAP) is only 6lb better off than when beaten nine lengths by Progressive over 2m at Kempton in February but she clearly enjoyed the step up in trip at Newbury next time and that form has been franked. Princess T beat the selection at Hereford in the autumn but that was also over 2m and she was five lengths behind Progressive at Ffos Las last month. Lime Drop would have a chance on last season’s form but Mulberry Hill may be warming up for a summer campaign. Dollar Bae beat Terresita, Well Vicky, Marada and Grivetana at Chepstow and has had a good season along with Lone Star while Windtothelightning accounted for Presenting A Queen on her handicap debut at Market Rasen and is another arriving at the top of her game.
