Verdict

Double W's won a Grade 3 at Aintree in the spring but was then pulled up behind Vaniteux at Ayr and hasn't always produced his best form around here. Vaniteux has left Nicky Henderson for David Pipe and may be too high in the weights now but Eastlake often pops up when least expected, though is now in the veteran stage. Last year's second Sizing Platinum made a winning reappearance at Newton Abbot and Poker School can get competitive off a fair mark while it would be no surprise to see Le Prezien return to form. FOXTAIL HILL stays further but attacks from the front and usually jumps well. If he gets these on the stretch, he could take some pegging back on a track that he seems to enjoy. Theflyingportrait could also run well at a price.
