In depth

Verdict

Wayward Glance had a couple of reasonable runs over fences before landing a claiming hurdle at Worcester and this is a drop in grade. However, AP McCoy rode him to that victory and has now switched to BOMBADERO, a winner at Wexford for Denis Cullen and now with Richard Newland. He made his debut for the yard in a class 3 handicap last month and this represents a huge drop. Vimiero landed a novices' handicap at Newton Abbot in August but then finished last of three in a Uttoxeter seller. Lauberhorn won a seller the last time he raced over hurdles while both Castle Beach and Dark Spirit should also be noted in a more competitive seller than normal.
