In depth

Verdict

Christdalo showed enough on her British debut at Cheltenham before losing her hind legs jumping two out and being pulled up to suggest that a race of this nature would be within her compass and she is taken to make amends here and score at the main expense of Gaora Gale and Old Benny. The last mentioned has ability but is proving to be expensive to follow so may be best watched, while Noeud Vert would need to improve on the level of form shown on his hurdling debut to trouble the judge. A market move for Tom George's point-to-point recruit The Wexford Man would be of interest but a bigger threat is likely to come from the Paul Nicholls-trained Gaora Gale, who has along absence to overcome but comes from a yard in good form. Christdalo was decent in Irish point-to-points though and she looks worth another chance judged by her Cheltenham run.
