Verdict
FOOTSTEPSINTHERAIN represents the Lanigan operation that has already enjoyed considerable success this term with lightly-raced three-year-olds. Only beaten half-a-length on his reappearance in a Newmarket handicap won by Consign, the selection looks on a feasible handicap mark and would probably only have to repeat that effort to score here. Peak Storm continues to go well despite the assessor's best efforts to combat improvement whilst Honey Of A Kitten has become a consistent servant for the Evans' team at a relatively modest level. Both are respected along with Equitissa, last of seven at Salisbury last month but not ruled out on the best of her form for Richard Hannon.
