Verdict

ARAB LEAGUE is the form pick to land this opener with both Corrib and Picot de Say worth noting. The selection has finished second on each of his last three outings. He is still only lightly races and with further improvement to come he is worth staying on the right side of. Corrib has not won for over two years but has now dropped to what looks like a winnable mark. He has been running well in defeat of late and if he reproduces his recent form he will not be far away come the business end of the race. Picot de Say won over hurdles in May and ran well to finish fourth of thirteen in a competitive race at Market Rasen last time out. He was not discredited when finishing third behind subsequent winner Sir Boss over course and distance on his last flat run and is another that warrants plenty of respect. Arab League is still unexposed and with luck in running he is difficult to oppose.
