Belle Bayardo has had 73 starts but was having his first run beyond 7f when well beaten over a mile at Lingfield. Emperor Julius ran his best race for a while at Lingfield so connections will be pleased to see him 3lb lower in the weights but Dimitar has only ever won on the all-weather. EUROQUIP BOY (NAP) has four career victories to his credit, three of them here. He's now on his highest ever mark after another fine run on the track but his rider's claim will help and course victory number four looks on the cards. Mister Mayday has only run twice on ground with some give, winning his latest at Windsor and finishing runner-up in the other. Providing the ground doesn't dry out he has an obvious chance.
