Verdict
An ordinary finale and Meirig's Dream will be fancied to enjoy a change of luck having only found one too good in his last three starts. The market will probably be the best guide to the chances of Todareistodo, Bathwick Junior and Admiral Blake who all return from a break, though the former was second to OLD MAGIC in this 12 months ago. The winner is 2lb better off now, however, and could easily win this again if ridden with more restraint than at Ludlow. Ivebeenthinking won at Uttoxeter before finishing third at Plumpton and could also figure.
