Verdict
SEXY REXY is selected with The Very Man and Cannon Fire offered as alternatives. Nigel Twiston-Davies has sent out many winners around here and the improving seven-year-old makes plenty of appeal. A fine winner at Warwick, a step up in trip should not present too many problems. The Very Man had some smart form in Ireland. He acts on this surface and is far better than his recent lines of form suggest. Cannon Fire clambers into this handicap off a very light racing weight. He did not do a lot wrong when narrowly failing to get his head infront at Towcester. Adopted Hero is better over shorter. Knighton Lad has been out of form for some time. Elton does not look a stable star whilst Diarius and Arctic Shadow are well known plodders. Sexy Rexy makes most interest in what is likely to be a punishing affair.
