In depth

Verdict

Kashmir Lady can repel the challenges of Torba, Kims Rose and Dancing Storm. All those mentioned have decent claims, and only narrow preference is for Kashmir Lady on the back of her two latest efforts. Just denied an opening at Warwick in July, she then filled the runner's-up spot again when finding only the much-fancied Montrachet too good at Windsor. She should have no trouble losing her maiden tag now that she is finding her form, and Henry Candy's filly is the pick. Torba is learning fast as well judged on her latest effort behind an odds-on Godolphin inmate at Windsor, while Kims Rose caused a 33-1 surprise here on her first outing in six-months, and it remains to be seen whether she can improve again. Dancing Storm was well handicapped when landing a poor affair at Brighton, and may just start to struggle again, so we are happy to rely on Kashmir Lady who has posted two good efforts in defeat of late.
