Finzi, Levallois and Star Angler are three against the field in a competitive handicap and the narrow vote is given to Finzi. The selection was a fair second behind Bannister Lane last time out, that form has since been franked and under similar conditions here he is hard to oppose. Levallois rates the main danger as he is well weighted on his best form but he is very hard to win with and at likely odds he is taken on. Star Angler ran as if in the handicapers grip last time out when fourth behind Money Line but he could improve for the fitting of a first time tounge tie and should be noted in the market. Southerndown is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is another that looks high enough in the weights. Of the remainder It's My Party was a fair thirdx behind Tommy Carson last time and is another with place claims but in a race where few can beruled out for the winner we return to Finzi.
