Verdict
Novice winner MOUNT TEMPEST landed a handicap at Warwick last month and can defy a double penalty with further progress likely. He’s preferred to stablemate Diamond Twin but maiden hurdle winner Clonakilty looks a bigger threat with a conditional’s 5lb allowance helping his cause having finished third in a handicap at Southwell last time. Manorbank has won a bumper but has yet to figure over hurdles while Try The Money is a brother to a couple of winners over timber and is a newcomer to note.
