Verdict

Double Czech, produced fit and well by the Chamings team to score at Windsor, should remain competitive off a 3lb higher mark, especially as his two previous career successes were achieved at this venue. David Probert has partnered him to all three victories and the combination look sure to give another good account on the good to firm which is perfectly suitable. Stormbound is a clear threat as he's won a race in each of the past four years for Paul Cole and confirmed his wellbeing with a decisive Brighton success last month. He still looks on a very acceptable handicap mark and is definite shortlist material with trip and ground to suit. However, ZARIA is impossible to leave out of the equation too with all three wins coming here and evidence of a good season in prospect seen on reappearance when just failing to score at Haydock. Patrick O'Donnell's 5lb claim may just tilt the balance in her favour. Plauseabella is another to note if the market suggests she's ready to go after an absence dating back to last summer.
