        Verdict

        Jeremy Gask can be forgiven for having his eyes on a different part of Wales but the proud Australian seems to have found a suitable opportunity for NEW LEYF. The nine-year-old isn't quite the force he is on the Polytrack though he showed enough at Newbury to suggest his turn isn't too far away and he can reverse form with Archie Stevens. Pixieleen started at a massive price ahead of her recent victory at Salisbury. The form of that race is working out well so a 5lb rise may yet prove lenient. Air Of York has struck up a great partnership with crack apprentice Edward Greatrex and is entitled to be thereabouts. Swendab has tended to come to hand at this time of year so he cannot be ruled out.
