        Verdict

        Just Glamorous beat Stone Circle on the same terms at Salisbury but didn’t fare as well next time on soft ground at Sandown and it would be no surprise if the subsequent Yarmouth winner came out best of that pair today. Only beaten a neck by Saturday’s Stewards’ Cup winner Aberama Gold at York, MANILA SCOUSE (NAP) gained a deserved victory at Haydock on Sunday and has escaped a penalty. He’s in peak form and loves the mud so will be hard to beat again if this doesn’t come too soon. Honour Your Dreams beat Betweenthesticks at Hamilton but the placings were reversed at York and the latter has been threatening to get his head back in front. Grace Angel has won two of her last three but the going is an unknown.
