        Verdict

        Jamie Osborne will be looking for a pick-me-up after losing his stable star, Irony, earlier in the week, and he saddles useful two-year-old performer, Mr Toad, here. Bouncing Bowdler steps back to six furlongs today but he is probably better over seven furlongs and is harshly treated in comparison to his handicap mark. Bright Edge holds him on the figures and Bryn Palling's charge is given the nod. She took the Kilvington Fillies' Stakes at Nottingham over the trip and has finished close up since.
