Verdict
A weak seller and Rowan Lodge is fancied to win ahead of Valassini, Stagehand and Voice Mail. The selection's last win came in October of last year but he has run respectably in defeat since and whilst he let down favourite backers last time out, now dropped back to this grade he could prove to be the best of a bad bunch. Valassini takes a drop in grade after just one run on the flat but he hasn't shown an awful lot of promise in other runs over hurdles and so would need to improve. Voice Mail is a Bath specialist and his last win came way back in 2005, so despite a drop in class he is opposed. The most obvious danger appears to be Stagehand who is dropped to this grade for the first time but whilst he has only scored once in 15 outings, he has shown glimpses of ability. At a price old-timer Yenaled could go well, however Rowan Lodge is fancied to land these moderate spoils.
