Verdict

Sizing Codelco won a valuable handicap at Punchestown in April after winning at the Grand National meeting at Aintree. He's looking a class act since stepping up in trip but won't get into another handicap if he wins this. Label Des Obeaux is only six and only disappointed once over fences last season. There is more to come while Indian Stream is a likeable mare and Marcilhac is deserving of this step up in grade. Petrou possibly lacks the experience for a race like this, however. ROCK THE KASBAH (NAP) won the novices' chase on this card 12 months ago so comes to hand early. He ran well off this mark in the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown when last seen and is also likely to be in the firing-line in this. Potters Legend and Bigbadjohn should be noted for future reference.
