In depth

Verdict

Minella Warrior was an easy winner at Uttoxeter and looks a nice prospect given there should be plenty more to come. Push The Tempo has won both hurdle races at Newton Abbot but remains unbeaten under Rules. The penny has dropped with Secret Investor and Equus Millar has also come good lately in handicaps. Double Treasure took advantage in a couple of minor contests in June but Jamie Snowden’s chaser will likely find this company too hot. Dorking Boy is thrown in at the deep end on his hurdles bow and this can go to COOLANLY, who ran in Grade 1 races at Cheltenham and Aintree in the spring and should be more the finished article this season. Gosheven was an eye-catcher at Cheltenham in April and should have no problem winning races this term.
