        Verdict

        NIGHT ON EARTH found life tough in the Group 3 Molecomb at Goodwood last time having won easily at Windsor before that. An apprentice’s allowance negates most of 7lb penalty back at this level and he’s just preferred to Tilaawah. This drop down in distance should suit the latter who represents last year’s winning yard while Mary Cassatt is another dropping down to the minimum trip after moderate efforts over 6f. The 82,000gns purchase Chica Bonita is the first foal of a winning sprinter and fellow newcomer Colombe is a half-sister to several winners including the useful Too Fast.
