In depth

Verdict

This looks wide open but Star of Rory was in the process of running a better race when falling at the last at Warwick. WEST TO THE BRIDGE, however, has been highly tried since scoring over 2m4f at Carlisle. He is a strong traveller and Harry Skelton can produce him late to land this ahead of the lightly-raced Global Fame. First Lord De Cuet is running well but needs some help from the handicapper while Caswell Bay remains out of sorts. Nightboattoclyro has gone up 5lb for a hard-fought win at Doncaster but has won here previously.
