    Verdict

SUPER FOURTEEN is thought good enough to land the opener at the expense of Northern Desert and Aine's Delight. The selection has caught the eye on a number of occasions and was not beaten far when finishing third behind Fortunate Bid at Windsor last time out. He gets another chance to run off the same mark of 60 and is sure to be in the shake up once again. Northern Desert won a couple of races on the all weather in the winter and has run well in defeat in both his last two outings. He was only narrowly beaten by Cordell at Brighton last time out and with conditions in his favour once again he warrants plenty of respect. Aine's Delight won off a three pound lower mark at Salisbury in June and was not totally discredited after finishing fourth of sixteen in a competitive handicap at Lingfield last time out. He is still only lightly raced and is open to further improvement so any market moves should be noted. Super Fourteen is the form horse in the race and looks the percentage call.
