Capote won a couple of minor novices' hurdles before making his chasing bow here last month where he took a heavy fall at the last when on the retreat. Winning bumper and hurdler Nansaroy started out over fences on a high mark and has gradually dropped to a more realistic level. He hasn't run since May but if ready for this would have to be a threat. Winning point-to-pointer RAMSES DE TEILLEE has done well over hurdles considering his pedigree is all about jumping fences so he gets the nod to make a successful start over the bigger obstacles. Richard Johnson's presence on Baron Du Plessis at the bottom of the handicap catches the eye and his mount will be better for a run here last month though he was behind Just Joelliott, who was having only his second start over fences. Cailleach Annie has shown some potential but could just need the run.
