Verdict

Golden Gift ran green when a beaten favourite at Wincanton but will know more today and looks the pick of those with experience ahead of the exposed Some Detail and Imperial Esprit, who never threatened the winner when runner-up here in December. There are several newcomers worth a market check, however, including Orrisdale, a €125,000 son of Oscar, and Storm Force Ben, a half-brother to a winning hurdler. CONNECT FOUR was sold for £82,000 at Goffs in 2017. He is by top NH sire Midnight Legend out of a Supreme Leader mare and it will be a surprise if he doesn’t win a few races for Tom George.
