Verdict

No recent winning form in a minefield of a race in which many are as much at home over a set of hurdles. ARISTOCRACY, a dual winner over timber, has obliged twice on the level back in 2013 and a year later. He was pulled up over hurdles when last seen but something seemed amiss that day and his previous effort on the Flat when runner-up to Timoshenko reads pretty well. He should get involved on that evidence off a mark of just 50. Contented finally revealed ability on the Flat last time and may improve again whilst dual purpose types like Planetoid, King Calypso and Our Folly could all throw their hat in the ring with some justification. The waters are further muddied by the presence of Irish raiders Massini's Trap and Almontaser. both of whom necessitate a careful market check.
