Verdict

SOVEREIGN STATE took advantage of a slide down the weights and opened his account over course and distance last time. Tony Newcombe’s charge is upped 6lb but was racing off much higher marks last summer and can go in again. Arnoul Of Metz has been in the mix lately and John Joiner was placed in testing going at Nottingham recently. Bluella found one too good at Catterick on her latest outing and Broadhaven Dream may finish closer today handicapping for only the second time.
