EAMON AN CNOIC (NAP) is due to go up 11lb after demolishing his rivals in a conditionals’ race at Sandown a week ago but escapes a penalty in this so is difficult to oppose. Grumpy Charley is on the up having won twice over course and distance since the turn of the year but he has to give the selection 17lb, including rider’s allowances, making his handicap debut. Repetitio has run well here on occasions but is returning from a break and is possibly better over further.
