In depth
Verdict
MAN OF THE MOMENT stays well and is fancied to follow up a recent Towcester win at the main expense of Well Mick and Incentivise. Jim Best's horses don't always hold their form well but it was hard not to be impressed with the way this grey scored at Towcester earlier in the month. He seemed to click with Jamie Moore who keeps the ride and this slow galloper should be suited by this track. Well Mick is considered a threat, as he finished ahead of the selection back in January, whilst The Walnut Tree and Twocute both look fairly treated despite being out of the weights. Scaramouche has a very patchy record but he handles this ground and must be considered off this low mark of 93, Orphelin Collonges will be fit from a recent run between the flags, whilst Sir Peter is edging down the weights but he stays well on testing conditions so has a squeak. Recent winner Incentivise has a whopping 17lb higher mark to contend with for his win here last time out, and that may leave him vulnerable to Man Of The Moment who is selected.
