In depth

Verdict

Seymar Lad gets the confident vote in this competitive handicap chase with Los Suenos and Silver Inngot rating the main dangers. The selection won in facile fashion on his first start for Emma Lavelle when beating Jackson's Pier and although rising in the weights he goes well fresh has conditions to suit and will be hard to beat. Los Suenos rates the main danger on his latest third behind Massini Sunset but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks without taking one and again he looks vulnerable. Silver Inngot is another that could go well on his latest third behind Wizard Of Edge but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Laudamus was second behind Perange last time out and is another with place claims but all his best form is over a longer trip. Scaramouche was second behind Flying Falcon last time but that form has since been let down. Of the remainder Aheadofhistime could go well at a price if his jumping holds up but that are a big if and for the winner are are happy to return to Seymar Lad who looks progressive.
