Verdict
A course and distance winner in March, Pyleigh Lass is not out of this dropping back down in class, but Orangeday failed to cope with an 8lb rise when well beaten at Wetherby. Seven Summits fared better at Wincanton last time having won at Catterick earlier but ON THE RECORD makes the most appeal. He's upped 7lb for his recent win over track and trip but has more scope than most of these and can go in again. Old Way ended a long losing run with last month's victory at Sandown but a rise in the weights may anchor him while Staccato Valtat hasn't raced for over a year.
