        Verdict

        Secret Gem caught the eye when second at Warwick last time and is taken to go one better at the expense of Towy Girl and Melt. The selection has looked a little exposed on what she has achieved until showing improvement when second to Benedetto at Warwick recently. She looks more than capable of winning a race off her current mark so is short listed to break her maiden tag this time around. Towy Girl has a string of placed efforts to her name but unfortunately she is still winless in fifteen starts. She was back in form when second to Kimono My House at Southwell last time and she can once again trouble the judge. Melt is less exposed with only four runs under her belt. She has run well on a couple of occasions but was a bitter disappointment last time out so is treated with caution. So for the winner we return to Secret Gem.
