      Verdict

      Secret Beau has yet to win but has ran well enough in similar company to be worthy of consideration. But COUNTRYMAN takes a drop in class and after a decent fifth at Goodwood last time, Hughie Morrison's charge is taken to land this with the help of an apprentice's allowance. The inconsistent Danz Choice has a shout on his best form and Indian Affair is better than his latest poor showing at Wolverhampton suggests.
