In depth

Verdict

The progressive Way Of Life just held on at Newbury to complete a five-timer but is upped in class and raised a further 7lb for this. ROSCIOLI (NAP) has yet to win on Turf but posted a better effort in Class 2 company at Goodwood last time and, having scored off a higher mark at Newcastle last summer, Andrew Balding’s charge gets the vote. Tiger Beetle and Commonsensical make their seasonal debuts with the former preferred over today’s trip while Daphne May steps up in distance having won off a higher mark on the all-weather.
