In depth

Verdict

Rudry World is taken to land the opener at the expense of Grey Samurai and Raquel White. The selection was claimed out of a seller at Wolverhampton and has since won a handicap at Lingfield. His form looks rock solid and we expect his run of good fortune to continue with another win under his belt. Grey Samurai carries a penalty for his win on heavy ground at Beverley and will once again relish conditions here with the ground likely to be very soft. His form once again looks consistent but life will be tougher with the extra weight to carry here. Raquel White was in winning form at Beverley as well last time and is now seven pound higher in the weights. He has a good young amateur on board and the trainer does like a tilt at the ring so he should be noted in the betting. But for the winner we return to Rudry World.
