Verdict

A wide open handicap chase here with many in form rivals in opposition including Lord Maizey, claymore and Cameron Bridge hand we will take a chance on Claymore. The gelding from the bang in form Oliver Sherwood yard was a good second behind Redemption last time and running off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Lord Maizey rates the main danger he won well at this track last time out when defeating World Wide Web. However he has risen in the weights and this looks more competitive so for that reason he is opposed. Cameron Bridge would have a chance on his best form but he ran as if in the handicappers grip behind Got One Too last time and looks to have plenty on at the weights. Of the remainder Cobreces looks to be on a handy mark but he may just need the run after a 283 day absence so we are happy to stick with the fit and in form Claymore
