In depth

Verdict

Hernando Torres won easily at Hamilton last week but soft ground may prove a problem for both him and recent Haydock runner-up Outback Blue. Black Dave is best on the all-weather nowadays while Daimochi, Fair Selene and Sir Compton have yet to win a race between them. FLOOD DEFENCE (NAP) is upped 3lb for winning at Doncaster but it was soft going on that occasion and Chris Wall’s filly gets the nod to go in again with scope for further improvement.
