The three-year-old filly GIRLING made a promising start over 7f at Salisbury when chasing home Dutch Destiny and this is much more like her trip. She has three Group 1 entries and has to win this easily to justify them as the opposition looks weak. Richard Hannon runs the newcomer Hills Of Rome, who is related to five winners, and the twice-raced Snan, who is by High Chaparral and should do better in his second season. The remainder will all need to improve dramatically on what they have shown including the superbly-bred Galileo colt Blenheim Warrior, who has been a big disappointment.
