      Verdict

      Izmir was headed right on the line over track and trip earlier this month and will be fancied to go one better. But she is 5lb higher so is no certainty and the value may lie with MIDNIGHT RIDER. Rod Millman's charge, a winner on this card 12 months ago, looked ready for a step up in trip last time at Ffos Las and should give a good account. Peak Storm runs his best races here but has never won off a mark this high. Bluff Crag was disappointing at Thirsk after winning at Newbury but Lilbourne Prince was back on song here last week and is only 3lb higher.
