      Verdict

      A few of these would have been happier with a few obstacles to negotiate. El Borracho is one but has won five times on the Flat, including at Thirsk in May. MILITARY TWO STEP must have decent claims as he won over course and distance two years ago and is only a pound higher, though Malakahna who was hampered off the home turn here two weeks ago when just starting to close on the leaders. Tigerten will have found 1m4f too short at Beverley last month and looks best of the rest.
