      Verdict

      It was soft going at Sandown when FLYING WEST (NAP) was beaten only a neck by the progressive Spirit Of The Bay, who was landing a four-timer. James Fanshawe’s filly can go one better in this. Gometra Ginty has been in winning form at Musselburgh and can figure again while Rani Of Jhansi may improve handicapping for the first time today. Coul Queen is now 12lb higher than when scoring here in July and the remaining pair are even harder to recommend.
