      Verdict

      ENGLISH SUMMER scored over track and trip in June. He's 7lb higher today but went close at Haydock last time and George Chaloner's allowance will help his cause. Spanish Plume hails from last year's winning yard and won over 1m2f here last month but Odin has looked high enough in the weights since landing a double on the Polytrack. Cool Sky won at Sandown when last racing on the Flat and, fit from hurdling, makes more appeal than Rio's Rosanna and Notarised.
