King's Thought, Alfonso and Artistic Style are three against the field in another tough race for punters to call with the tentative vote given to Alfonso. The selection remains on a fair mark and although he was very disappointing last time out that was over an inadequate 7f. The return to this 10f trip will suit and with rain forecast which will enhance his chance he looks the one to be on. King's Thought is sure to have his supporters having been a game winner last time out when beating Shazzan House. But he has a penalty for that win and he's unlikely to be able to dictate from the front here so he looks opposable. Artistic Style was behind King's Thought last time and he is better off at the weights here, so in theory he should gain his revenge. But this hold-up performer will need plenty of luck in running on this tight circuit. True Companion has been in the form of his life of late and was a fair second behind Maraakeb, but that form has since been let down and for the winner we return to Alfonso.
