        Verdict

THIN RED LINE returned to action at this meeting a year ago and scored over the C&D from a 3lb lower mark. He didn't have much in his favour on subsequent starts and this could be his day again. Snow Dancer is in tremendous heart and came with a late blast to score at Pontefract last week. She should go well again though a 6lb penalty and a much sharper track may not play to her strengths. The latter remark also applies to Beachfire, one of last season's most progressive performers, who generally arrives late on the scene as he did on his reappearance at Epsom. He may just get outpaced here while Changing The Guard doesn't win often enough and still looks a few pounds high.
