In depth

Verdict

Innsbruck had a couple of moderate runs over hurdles last year after making a winning racecourse debut at Pontefract in October. Gabrial's Star isn't exactly consistent and appears to do better with some give while stablemate Nashville scored over 2m here in August and will probably find this on the short side. RUNNING DEER has won two of her last three, both under Louis Steward. She has a 6lb penalty for last week's Windsor victory but had a bit in hand and can complete a quick double. Licence To Till and Spanish Plume are also penalised for recent victories with the former making his debut for Tom Dascombe after being claimed after his success at Wolverhampton. Megan Carberry has been riding winners for Brian Ellison and the very versatile Ultimate is no forlorn hope, despite being better known as a jumper these days, as his last outing on the Flat resulted in an easy victory over this trip at Catterick.
