Verdict

LEIBA LEIBA easily sets the standard in this conditions race so is given the vote to land a hat-trick leaving Malpas Missile and Miss Mediator fighting for minor honours. After finding just the one too good in his first two starts the pick duly won a maiden in good style at Yarmouth before winning a similar race to this over course and distance when getting the better of The Thrill Is Gone last time out. A similar runs should be good enough to score again with this possibly easier. Malpas Missile ran well when held just over a length in the listed Hilary Needler Trophy on her last run. The form from that race has some strength to it and with that a third improved run on the trot she can progress again. Miss Mediator has shown ability in a couple of runs but will need to improve to take this while Scarlett Rocks probably has a bit to find based on her last couple of efforts. My Mate Al and Furiosa need to improve beyond all expectations to feature in this contest so the vote lands with the hat-trick hunting Leiba Leiba.
