Verdict
Major Jumbo beat Rock On Baileys easily in this a year ago and though just over a length behind Judicial at Newcastle in June has a 5lb pull which should be enough to reverse the form. He finished a long way behind Angel Alexander when the latter won the Ayr Gold Cup in September but Tom Dascombe's charge hasn't been in that kind of form recently. The 2018 Gimcrack winner EMARAATY ANA was in good form throughout last season and will be better for his run behind subsequent July Cup winner Oxted at Newmarket in June so looks the one to beat. Dark Pursuit is an unknown quantity having been a prolific winner in Doha including his last run when having the likes of Gulliver and Make A Challenge well beaten.
