Verdict

Silvestre De Sousa may have to sit and suffer aboard MICKEY from a high draw but Tom Dascombe’s gelding has shown himself to be well suited by 7f on the all-weather this year and still looks to be on a fair mark. Goring is also fit from an all-weather campaign but he’s been racing over a mile. However, he won over 6f and 7f at Chepstow last year and is likely to be another making up ground hand-over-fist in the closing stages. Baraweez last won in 2015 but he’s slipped down the weights as a result and has run well in both starts this term. He has the inside draw and last year’s winner Sound Advice will be alongside in stall two. He’s back on the same mark but finished tailed of behind Penwortham here when last seen. Arcanada has a touch of class but has never won off a mark this high.
